Greetings

Indeed, it is great joy for me to greet on behalf of the Executive Committee Members, Administrative Committee Members, Staff and Departmental Committee Members to one and all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The Gospel seed was shown among the Nyishi Tribe in early part of the 20th Century, and slowly it germinated and the church started sprang up in the middle part of the 20th Century, then it grasped to form its unify Baptist body among the Nyishi tribe of Arunachal Pradesh and finally established its headquarter at Model village Naharlagun in 1971.

The motto of the Council is “Saved to Serve.” In line with the motto, the Council has three core values, i.e., self-governing, self-supporting and self-propagation. With this core values the Council could established and formed four hundred sixty one Baptist churches including fellowship in different regions in Arunachal Pradesh and beyond. By God’s grace NBCC has now more than three hundred working staff in the ministry.

The Council has ten different departments viz., Mission, Youth, Pastoral, Women, Christian Education, Planning & Development, Christian Literature, Education, Finance and Relief & rehabilitation. These departments are diligently, faithfully and competently dealing all their responsibilities and as a result the Council is reaping bountiful blessings.

By God’s blessings and also inspirational guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Council is marching ahead with lot of expectations to achieve something in its life, not only that the Council also fully determined to face all odds and challenges in serving the Lord in its capacity and ability.

The success of the ministry is not one person’s afford but it is always team work afford. We cannot be isolated from one another but always need friends to have more successful story in the ministry. Hence, the NBCC is open to anyone, or like-minded Baptist Christian to work together and also to support each other in order to achieve more in a form of joint venture.

Hope the attentive readers will browse through the NBCC website page (s) and will get all the needed information, activities, and programs of the NBCC. We always value your constructive suggestions and meaningful feedback to strengthen and alter our policies if possible.
