Role Planning & Development Department.
Planning & Development Department shall deal with man power Planning of project including appointment, transfer, posting, promotion and demotion etc. of project including identification, estimation, designing, resource mobilization and creation & maintenance of assets including tendering, awarding, execution, repairing, maintaining, keeping record of assets created and any others activities as assign by the council from time to time. The affairs of the department shall be managed by departmental Committee with planning and Development Secretary as the member Sectary of the Committee along with manpower posted/recruited from time to time.
Mission and Vision:
As Nyishi Baptist Church Council grows both physically and spiritually, for the smooth functioning of the NBCC administration, the Department of Planning and Development was created in order to streamline the administration especially in terms of Budget and Planning of Council’s Departments.
Important Activities of the Department:
The department looks after the affairs of manpower, planning including appointment, transfer, posting, promotion and demotion etc. of the Council. Planning of project including identification, estimation, designing, resource mobilization and creation and maintenance of assets which including tendering, awarding, execution, repairing, maintaining, keeping record of assets created and any others activities assigned by the council from time to time.
The department has initiated following projects:
i. Agri-Horti cum World Seed House under Pistana Pastoral Range, NBCC with following objectives:
a. Research: researching traditional as well as modern seeds suitable for cultivation.
b. Reproduction: It aims to reproduce seeds found suitable.
c. Preservation: It aims to preserve the traditional seeds
d. Distribution: distribution of produced and preserved seeds
e. Self Reliant: It aims to provide NBCC an income generating project in pursuit of the goal of self reliance.
ii. Fish Pond Project at Taraso with objectives to include Poultry, Piggery, and Horticulture and to create tourist attraction spot for the interest of Council and society as a whole.
